Keith Urban says for Fuse he teamed up with a number of people he's never worked with before. The country star explains he wanted to do something totally different with this new album.
Urban includes material on Fuse that he recorded with longtime producer Dann Huff. But he also cast a wide net. Keith worked with Jay Joyce, who produced Eric Church's "Chief," and Nathan Chapman, who produced some tracks on Taylor Swift's Red.
He also tapped the talents of songwriters and producers who've worked with such stars as Beyonce, Rihanna, Fall Out Boy, Eminem, and Ne-Yo.
Urban's Fuse arrives in stores today. He'll support the album with a release-day performance on NBC's "Today." Keith will appear on ABC's "The View" and CBS' "Late Show with David Letterman" on Wednesday.
